F1’s priority is to stage qualifying at some point on Saturday afternoon. Qualifying is due to begin at༺ 3pm local time (1pm BST) and the current weather forecast sugges﷽ts the rain should ease before then.

The session could be delayed in the hope of finding a potential break in the weather later on Saturday, but with sunset at 6.13pm local time, there is a na🙈rrow window to fit qualifying in.

If qualifying can not be held on Saturday, F1 has the option to move t♍he session to Sunday morning and reschedule its programme.
