Hamilton beat Ve♋rstappen in a controversial, incident-filled inaugural race in Saudi Arabia to set move level on points with his rival and set🌳 up a winner-takes-all championship showdown at next weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The title contenders clashed on multiple occasions during what was one of the most dramatic races in living memory, with ꦏVerstappen picking up a five-second time penalty for gaining an unfair advantag♌e in one of their battles.
That set-up the major flashpoint of the race when Verstappen appeared to be slowing down to allow Hamilton back past, only for the Mercedes driv𝄹er to run into the back of his rival on the approach to Turn 27.

Both Verstappen and Ham෴ilton have been summoned over the inci🏅dent for an alleged breach of the FIA International Sporting Code.
Article 2, Chapter IV, Appendix L of the FIA Sporting Code reads: "Causing a collision. Repetition of serious mistakes or the appearance of a lack of control over the car (such as leaving the track) will be reported to the Stewards and may entail the imposition of penalties up to and includi❀ng the exclusion of any driver concerned.”
