Günther: 2018 plans 'totally open' amid push for F2, Super Formula

Günther, 20, finished as runner-up to Williams Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship in 2016 before taking third in the standings last year, traꦦi꧃ling Lando Norris and Joel Eriksson.

Günther, 20, 🦄finished as runner-up to Williams Formula 1 driver Lance Stroll in the FIA European Formula 3 Championship in 2016 before taking third in the standings last year, trailing Lando Norris and Joel Eriksson.
Günther will graduate from F3 in 2018, and has tested both DTM and Formula E during the off-season, but is hopeful of landing a single-seater ꩲdrive in🌸 either F2 or the Japanese Super Formula series to continue his push towards F1.
"Formul🎀a 2 is an option, but the moment it’s no🍨t decided yet. I will step up from Formula 3, that’s for sure," Günther told mahbx.com.
"The options are for example F2, Super Formula. For sure I’m interested in Formula E as well, but the season has aᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚlready started. Some other options, but that’s mainly it.ꦆ"
Asked if F2 would be th🧔e more competitive series to race in, Günther said: "To be honest, it depends on the manufacturer.
"It’s not only about𒆙 me which is decidi♈ng. I think of all the series I am looking at, they are all really competitive.
"I’m looking forward to th💙e challenge I get this year, but there’s nothing to tell at the moment.
"It’s totally open."
