Formula E visits Pope Francis ahead of Rome E-Prix
FIA Formula E Champio꧒nship representatives visited Pope Francis on Wednesday ahead of thiꦇs weekend’s inaugural Rome E-Prix.
FE CEO Alejandro Agag was joined by ACI President Angelo Sticchi Damiani and a selection of drivers and team personnel who received an Apo🔯stolic Blessing before attending the pa𓆏pal audience at Santa Marta.
The official FE championship car was also brought to Vatican City, with r💫eigning champion Lucas di Grassi, Renault e.dams’ Nico Prost, NIO’s Luca Filippi and Venturi’s Maro Engel among the drivers to share images of the meeting on social media.

The all-electric series will race around the streets of Rome for the first time ever this weekend, with the seventh round of the 2017/2018 season taking place at the second-longest track on the calendar, the Circuito Cittadino dell’EUR street circ🍌uit.
