Formula E visits Pope Francis ahead of Rome E-Prix
FIA Formula E Championship representa💃tives visited Pope Francis on Wednesday ahead of this weekend’s inaugural Rome💖 E-Prix.
FE CEO Alejandro Agag was joined by ACI President Angelo Sticchi Damiani and a selection of drivers and team personnel who received an Apostolic Blessing before attending the papal au൲dience at Santa Marta.
The official FE championship car was also brought to Vatican City, with reigning champion Lucas di Grassi, Renault e.dams’ Nico Prost, NIO’s Luca Filꦓippi and Venturi’s Maro Engel among the drivers to share 🍃images of the meeting on social media.

The all-electric series will race around the streets of Rome for the first time ever this weekend, with the seventh round of the 2017/2018 season taking place at the second-longest track on the calendar, the Circuito Cittad🎃ino dell’EUR street circuit.
