Aston M𓄧artin'𒐪s new F1 car has offered a clue about a concept direction change made by Mercedes.

Aston Martin’s revamped 2024 F1 car has offered a clue about a key cౠoncept change that will also feature on Mercedes’ W15.
The Silverstone-based𝄹 outfit kicked off a big week of car launches by revealing their brand new AMR24 challenger for the upcoming 2024 🅘F1 season on Monday.
♌As part of many changes to𓃲 their new car, Aston Martin have switched to a push-rod rear suspension layout.
This change is also set to be incorporated into the design of the W15, which will be unveile🌼d on Wednesday, g♛iven Aston Martin takes the same gearbox and rear suspension layout as Mercedes.
“The front suspension layout, that is a similar layout to 𒅌what we had on the AMR23, so still a push-rod,” Aston Martin technical director Dan Fallows explained.
“We’ve inherited new suspension from▨ Mercedes. The꧋y give us the gearbox and the structure of the rear suspension, so that has changed slightly from last year as well.
“🌠So, there’s a change on the rear, but on the front it’s very similar.”
Fall﷽ows described the AMR24 as a “strong evolution”🐻 of Aston Martin’s 2023 car.
“We’ve made changes all over the car🐈. It’s very different in many wa⛄ys,” he said.
“The majority of the parts have changed on it, but it is still really essentially a strong evolution of last year’s car. We have kind of built♌ on the end of AMR23.
“The obvious things that you’ll see that are different, are things like the nose and front wing. ꦰBodyworkಌ will be different.
“But𝔍 there’s also quite a lot of stuff under the hood, which hopefully you won’t see! We will obviously try and keep some of that under wraps.”

Aston Martin made a stunning start to the 2023 season by emerging from the winter as Red Bull’s nearest challengers, with 168澳洲幸运5官方开奖结果历史:Fernando Alonso taking several podiums in the early rounds.
The team’s performance dipped midway through the campaign as rival teams overtook them in the development race, and that is something Aston Martin are keen ꦦto address with their new car.
“We’re very pleased with the step that we’ve made over the winter,”ꦍ Fallows ad𒊎ded.
“We think we have made a step on last year’s car, which is what we wanted. But in t🔯ruth it is a short off-season and we were developing things that were relevant for this year quite late on into last season.
“The main aim for us is really to make sure that this car is a good platform to put those developments on dur🌄ing the season.
“We’ve seen particularly last season, but also the season before, the in-season development race is absolutely fierce and we ꦍwant to be as competitive in that as we have been going into the new season.
“So that's what we’ve been really focused on, to make sure that we’ve got a good, stable b🎉asis for us🌼 to go and develop the car and keep those updates coming and keep the performance coming.”
