Yamaha is targeting a MotoGP wild༺card for its V4 engine later this year, according to according to the Managing Director of Yamaha Motor Racing, Paolo Pav🧔esio.

Speaking to MotoGP.com during Practice today, Pavesio said: “The target is to make the [V4] bike as good as poss🧸ible and, as soon as the bike [is] ready, to challenge oꦡurselves in a wildcard."

He added that the engine cꦉould be raced as soon as next year if it proves to be more competitive than the current inline-four engine.
