Yamaha is targeting a MotoGP wildcard for its V4 engine later this year, accꦜording to according to the Managing Director of 🐈Yamaha Motor Racing, Paolo Pavesio.

Speaking to MotoGP.com during Practice today, Pavesio said: “The target is to make the [V4] bike as good as possible and, as soon as the bike [is] ready, to challenge ourselves in a wildcar♈d."

He added that th🍰e engine could b♈e raced as soon as next year if it proves to be more competitive than the current inline-four engine.
