Former Williams and Benetton engineer Frank Dernie is to re🅺turn to the Formula 1 scene after jo༒ining Toyota in a senior advisor role.

The experienced Englishman, who has been invol⭕ved in Formula 1 for over 30 years, will advise th🦄e team on aerodynamic and chassis-related matters, although he will not have a factory-based role and is not expected to attend races frequently.

Dernie will work to help the team improve the TF107 currently campaigned by Ralf Schumacher and Jarno Trulli and also aid in the development of the TF108 under the leadership of senior general chassis manag🎃er Pascal Vasselon.
