Teams set to go `slick` at Jerez.
Bridgestone has confirmed that it will provide slick tyres at the Jerez test in Spain next month༺.
The FIA Formula 1 Wor꧋ld Championship switched to grooved tyres in 1998 as part of a drive to try and reduce speeds and in turn improve safety.
Three sets of slicks tyres will be available at the test, which runs for four days, from Tuesday December 4 to Friday December 7 and which will include all eleven te💦ams.
The test is part of an as♈sessment as the sport couldඣ return to slick tyres from 2009.

"Bridgestone are supplying these tyres as a response to a request from the teams and the testing committee," a spokesperson for Bridgestone told mahbx.com.
"The teams want t🦋o gain data as they look to the 2009 season.
"Any mileage complet𒀰ed on these tyres will be outside the scope of the testing committee agreement, as agreed between the teams.
"It is too early tho๊ugh for Bridgestone to comment on our tyre ra🔴nge for 2009, however we are always available to discuss ideas with the teams and the FIA."
