BSS: Robinson steams his way to pole.

Jamie Robi🌞nson aboard the Margal/Bykerbabe Honda has stolen poꦦle position ahead of round two of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship at Thruxton.

Dennis Hobbs who was on pole last time out had been fending him off but Robinson got the bꩵetter to the Padgetts rider towards the end of the second timed session.

Martin Jessopp who finished on the podium at Brands only to be disqualified due to his bike not starting at a technical test after the race, lines up in third place on the front roღd of the grid.

The final spot on the hallowed front row went to Billy McConnell for the Virgin Media team. Heading row two is Steven Neate on the Angel Racing Honda, next up is Ian Lowry on the Relentless Suzuki. Tom Grant who suffered a ride though 🏅penalty last weekend for a jump start will start this event from seventh place.

James Westmoreland on the Centurion Racing Honda was in an impressive eighth p🎉lace and was the first of the Supersport Cup riders over the line.

Michael Laverty who is leading the young championship qualified in a lowly nin𝕴th place following a technical pr♔oblem with his machine. The last man in the top ten is John Crockford on the Crescent Performance Suzuki.

The session was red flagged with just🅠 four minutes to go when Aaron Walker crashed at the chicane, but, fortunately for Robinson, nobody managed to beat his time of 1min 17.095secs.
