Former ꦚgrand prix star Loris Capirossi is to take over the role o൲f Dorna's representative on the MotoGP's Race Direction panel.
The Italian - who worked as a Dorn꧙a Safety Advisor after retiring at the end of 2011, then a Riders' Representative for Race🎶 Direction - replaces Javier Alonso, who left Dorna at the end of last year.
The revised composition of Race Direction will thus be as follows: Mike Webb, Race Director (IRTA Representative); Franco Uncini, Grand Prix Safety Officer (FIM Repres൲entative) and Capirossi (Dorna Repr🍰esentative).
