Jerez MotoGP/WorldSBK test times - Thursday

Update: Rain on Friday meant these were the best lap times of the week.
Ahead of the winter MotoGP testing ban, a private test is being held alongside the leadin💟g World Superbike teams at Jerezk.
The Suzuki, KTM and Aprilia factory MotoGP teams are present at the Spanish circuit, plus sate🥃llite riders from Honda and Ducati.
The factory Ducati team is not taking part, since new signing Jorge Lorenzo was only given permission from Yamaha for the Valen🌠cia test. For the same reason, Pol Espargaro is unable to test for KTM - but is present to watch from trackside.
Alex Rins (Suzuki) is missing the test due to injuries🦩 at Va🐭lencia, while team-mate Andrea Iannone only rode on Wednesday.
Repsol Honda originally planned to attend, but have since changed their minds, while Movistar Yamahaꦚ and Monster Yamaha Tech 3 have chosen Sepang in Malaysia for their private tes🍒t.
The winter test ban then begins on December 1 and runs until the offici🌃al Sepang test starts at the en🎉d of January.
Testing at Jerez concludes on Friday evening, although not all riders are expected to return for the final day, preferring to save their limited private te💝sting for 2017.
Thursday saw World Superbike champion Jonathan Rea lead꧟ the timesheets with a 1m 38.721s, which is quicker than Valentino Rossi's pole time at this year's MotoGP.
