The 2015-16 Formula E championship finale in London will mark Team Aguri's final race in the alไl-electric series having agreed the sale of its racing licence to new investors.

After grabbing a maiden Formula E victory in just the fourth race of the inaugural champiඣonship with A💜ntonio Felix da Costa the Japanese squad has struggled this season having claimed just four points finishes between its two cars.

Mark Preston, team principal of Team Aguri, says he's proud of his squad's involvement in Formula E but with investors looking for a fresh ꧋direction it has forced an end to the squad's time in the ser♑ies.

"I am proud to say that Team Aguri can b💛e considered true pioneers in the development of electric vehicles, pioneering new technologies and showcasing them to the world," Preston said. "While this is the final chapter in Team Aguri's history in the FIA Formula E Championship, this also represents the start of something new, with the sale of the team to new investors.

"As such, this will be the finalꦓ race for Team Aguri and I would like to thank all involveꦆd for their hard work and dedication over the past two seasons."

Team owner Marc Faggionato added: "Team Aguri has established a reputation as an outfit known for its technological excellence, dedication to innovation and has become a firm fan f♛avourite.

Team Aguri is eighth in the F♒ormula E Constructors' championship, on 24 points,ꦑ with the final two rounds remaining at Battersea Park.
