Marc Marque💟z wins the Argentina MotoGP, breaking clear of Valen♓tino Rossi after the compulsory mid-race bike swap.

A tyre failure for Scott Redding on Saturday had seen Michelin plan to replace the original allocation with a new stiffer rear tyre.

However the wet Sunday morning weather meant there was no chance to try the new tyre before the race and the decision was made to use the original tyres, but with a compulso🏅ry bike change.

All rideᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚrs were thus forced to pit at the end of their 9th, 10th or 11th lap of the reduced 20-lap race. The format was previously seen at Phillip Island in 2013, ⛄when Bridgestone had tyre trouble.
