Marc Coma is a truly astounding motorcycle racer. During his𝔍 13 year career the Spaniard clocked up a staggering five victories at the Dakar - arguably the toughest off-road race in the world𝔉 - and still had time to clock up six world rally titles.

In July this year, Coma announced his retirement from racing to take on a new role as Sporting Director for the Dakar Rally, and has been assisting Etienne Lavig🔯ne and the team of Dakar organizers as they prepare for the 2016 edi🐻tion.

This year's race starts in less than a week on January 3 and runs until the 16th, on a༺ tortuous route through Argentina and Bolivia, the longest day taking in an incredible 931km on the 12th stage at San Juan.
