Northern Ireland's Jamie Hamilton is now in a stable condition in hospital after sustaining serious injuries after a fall before the 11th Milestone in t♏he Senior TT.

The Ballyclare rider came off on the second lap of the r🦩ace on John Burrows' Suzuki at Burnside, causing the race to be stopped.

Hamilton was airlifted to Nobles Hospital in Do🅺uglas, with his injuries initially described as 'serious but not 🅰life-threatening'.

He was later transferred to the Aintree Univℱersity Hospital in Liverpool and was in a critical condition for several days.

He was brou﷽ght out of sedation during the week and has shown encouraging signs of improvement.
