Northern Ireland's Jamie Hami𓃲lton is now in a stable condition in hospital after sustaining serious injuries after a fall before the 11th Milestone in the Senior TT.

The Ballyclare rider came off on the second lap of the rac🐭e on John Burrows' Suzuki at Burnside, causing the race to be stopped.

Hamilton was airlifted to Nobles Hospital in Douglas, with his injur🐈ies initially described as 'serious but not life-threatening'.

He was later transferred to the Aintree Unꦅiversity Hospital in Liverpool and was in a critical condition for several days.

He was brought out of sedation during the week and has shown encou꧙raging signs of improvement.
