Liam Venter tests JRM Group-built Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3

South African teenager Liam Venter com🎶pleted two successful tests with a JRM Group-built Nissan G🐻T-R NISMO GT3 this month.
Venter, who gradua⛦ted to F3 last year - and who also became the first South African single-seater driver to stand on the podium at Monza since Jody Scheckter managed the feat in 1979, the ye൩ar of his F1 title triumph - first sampled the factory JRM machine at Brands Hatch putting in an impressive performance, despite tricky wet conditions in the afternoon.
T🅠he 19-year-old,🧸 who is from Johannesburg, then drove it for a second time a week or so later at Silverstone and again did well.
"As always it was a pleasure to drive the car, and♎ Silverstone is one of my personal favourites, so naturall🃏y it was a good day," said Venter.
"It was another opportunity to spend some quality time in the car and despite the t💦raffic we managed to put together a few respectable lap times. I can't wait to get out there again. Thanks to the team for another solid test," added the Proudly South African brand ambassador.
Meanwhile, Craig Dolby - Venter's driver coach and also JRM's factory race and development pilot, felt the youngster had done very well, especially given he had never sampꦑled a GT machine until t🍌his month.
"Despite it being his very 🌳first few times in a GT car he was immediately at ease," Dolby stated. "His times were very good, just a couple of tenths off my benchmark times. In hindsight the wet conditions at Br♔ands were also a real bonus. He was out there looking for and finding the grip, and working too to keep the tyres cool. If he keeps up that level of progress I'm going to have to up my game!"
