Wales Rally GB will return to the world famous Walters Arena Motorsp🍸ort Complex this year, it has been confirmed.

The Walters Arena Motorsport Complex was last used for the WRC event back in 2009 and this year it will host the qualifying stage on Wedn🧔esday September 12 and two competitive stages on Sunday September 16, including the final Power Stage where crucial extra points will be on offer which could decide the event's winner.

Competitors in ꦉWales Rally GB's National Rally will also compete on the stage on the Sunday. Spectators at all runs through the stage will benefit from live comඣmentary over a PA system.

"Everyone is very excited by the return to Walters Arena for the 2012 Wales Rally GB," said Andrew Coe, chief executive of International Motor Sports which organises Wales Rally GB. "The three Likes L𒉰and Rover at Walters Arena stages will provide spectators with the chance to enjoy the fast-paced thrill of international motorsport ♋in a dedicated 1,600 acre complex, while competitors will experience a challenging mix of gravel and forest tracks.

"The venue was recently h﷽ome to its first complete national rally and we're looking forward to taking advantage of the excel﷽lent facilities on site."

The Walters Arena Motorsport Complex is owned and operated by plant hire and🐷 civil engineering business, The Walters Group. The site hosts a variety of activities throughout the year, including manufacturer testing and driver training, as well as accommodating the BMW Off Road School attended by Ewan McGregor✃ and Charlie Boorman before their worldwide adventures.

In the three years since the venue was last used for Wales Rally GB, Walters Arena has undergone a series of infrastructure investme𒆙nts and is being transformed into an Eco Park, featuring thirteen wind turbines and miles of access roads, which a𓆉re now available for rallying.
