Crutchlow reveals broken ankle

Cal Crutc🌠hlow has said that his injured left ankle is both fractured and dislocated.

A Saturday evening statement from his Yamaha Tech 3 teamꦕ, following the morning practice fall, appeared to rule out any fractures:

"Extensive analysis of the [hospital] scans has revealed the former World Supersport Champion hasn't suffered an꧃y fractures and he is already able to put weight on his left foot after doctors reduced🎃 the swelling around his heel and ankle."

But after passing🌞 a medical check and completing Sunday's Silverstone warm-up, Crutchlow wrote on Twitter:

"Full♌ exℱtent of injury is I have a broken and dislocated left ankle. It's back in place now but worst pain I've had so will try my best in race."

Crutc൲hlow, w♒ho missed last year's British GP with a broken collarbone, set the tenth fastest lap in warm-up. He will start from 20th and last on the grid after missing qualifying.
