Baz prevented from making BSB return

Loris Baz's hopes of returning to the MCE British Superbike Championship this season have been dealt a blow after encountering꧂ ongoing issues between his sponsor and his former M🧸otorpoint Yamaha team.

The Frenchman was forced to cede his ride with the Rob Mac Racing team ahead of the Brands Hatch round after running into financial ✅difficulties, but had hopes of returning before the year was out.

However, having taken to his Twitter account to reveal he had some 'good news to come', he updated to say🧔 a 'financial proble💯m' was stopping him from coming back.

"I think my last good news will not come, due to the financial problem between my sponsor and my ex-team Motorpoint Yamaha. I cannot rac💝e in England anymore this season until this is sorted!"

Baz was enjoying a solid first full season with Motorpoint Yamaha and was in outside contention for a top six shootout berth before being forced to curtail h⛄is campaign. His best BSB result was a fourth place finish at Croft.
