Josh Day to make BSB EVO switch

Reigning Superstock 600 champion Josh Day will compete in the British Superbike EVO Championship this se✱ason after confirming he will graduate aboard a Kawasaki.

The 20-year-old sealed the 2010 SSTꦺK 600 crown for AIR Racing after a season-long battle with Luke Stapleford, one that would see him claim the title by a mere point.

Sticking with AIR Racing, but moving from Yamaha to Kawasaki machinery, Day 🌱was thrilled to be getting the chance to compete on the main BSB stage in 2011.

"With my Champi🌳onship win in the Superstock 600 class last year, I'm really looking forward 🌟to the next step in my career with the Evo class on the new ZX10R.

"After testing for the first time on a 1000cc wi🍸t✃h the team in Jerez, I knew it is the right decision to move up to the Evo class, and with the support of Air Racing I believe they will deliver the right package for me to compete at the highest level."

Day is the 13th rider to commit to the 20ﷺ11 BSB EVO catego𝓰ry.
