The film chronically the life of the late Ayrton Senna has secured a major𝐆 award at the Sund🍃ance Film Festival in the United States.

Asif Kapadia, the director of 'Senna' secured the World Cinema Audience Award for Documentary Film during the awards on Saturday evening ahead༺ of its worldwide release later in the year.

"I just got back from Salt Lake C🦹ity, for a screening - I should have dressed in something nicer," Kapadia said. "This Festival's restored my faith in festivals. It's all about the films, the filmmakers and audiences, and every screening is sold out."

The documentary film, written by Manish Pandey, focuses on Senna's rise from a rookie entering F1 to a triple world champion before h𒆙is death in an accident at Imola during the 1994 San Ma♛rino Grand Prix.
