Motop2: Sofuoglu signs for Technomag

Rei🌱gning double World Supersport🌳 champion Kenan Sofuoglu will stay with the Technomag-CIP Suter team for the full 2011 Moto2 season.
Sofuoglu has joined the team, which took victory in th🐷e first ever Moto2 race with the late Shoya Tomiza𒅌wa, for the last two rounds of this year - and led on his debut last weekend at Estoril.
The Turkish rider's impressive perform꧂ance prompted interest from rival teams, including Gresini Moriwaki, which needs a high-profile signing to replace inaugural Moto2 champion Toni Elias, who is returning to MotoGP next year.
As pr꧒eviously reported, an offer had been on the table from Gresini, but a statement on the Technomag team's website reveals that Sofuoglu has decided to stay where he is f𒆙or 2011.
26-year-old Sofuoglu, the most successful WSS rider in his🅷tory with 17 race wins, will start Sunday's Valencia season finale from sixth on ✨the grid.
