The race got underway in wet conditions before the heavens opened at the end of the opening lap, organisඣers proceeding to deploy the red flags shortly a🌃fterwards as visibility plummeted.
Despite the conditions, no serious accidents occurred, with Josh Brookes leading initially, ahead of Michael Rutt🔜er, James Ellison and Alastair Seeley.
