Second rider killed on Isle of Man TT

Martin Loicht dies in accident at the Quarry Bends during the 2010 running of the Isle of Man TT.

Martin Loicht has become the second rider to be killed in as💎 many days on t🐟he Isle of Man TT after an accident during the Supersport 2 race.

Martin, 48 and hailing from Austria, was competing in the TT for the first time since 1996 and also had experience ওof competing on the Isle of Man Sourthern 100 TT last year. He was a professor of mechanical engineering at the Institute of Technology, Vienn🔜a.

He was marrie🧸d to Nikola and has two children. The Auto Cycle Union wishes to pass on their deepes🐭t sympathy to the rider's family and friends.

"I got to know Martin really well by working with him on the TT Zero project as he was developing a bike to compete in that race," Dr Paul King, technical director, ACU, said
"He was a real character who wᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚas passionate and committed to motorcycling and he reflected the amateur spirit and endeavour that pervades the TT."

Martinℱ fell from his bike in an ac♔cident at Quarry Bends.
