Alex de Angelis has not ruled out the possibility of switching to the World Superbike Championship in 2010, but claims he will only do so when he has e൲xhausted all possibilities of snaring one of the few remaining spots left on the MotoGP grid.

de Angelis has shown good form in his second season aboard the San Carlo Gresini Honda, the Sammarinese rider finishing inside the points in all but one race this season, a run of results ꦑthat also includes a second place finish at Indianapolis.

🍌Despite this, de Angelis has been left💃 without a ride for 2010 after Gresini confirmed it had signed Marco Melandri and Marco Simoncelli to the team.

Since then, a flurry of movements have seen various available seats s🐼napped up, with Tech 3 Yamaha, Pramac Racing and S🍬cot Racing the only current teams yet to confirm their line-ups for next season.

With a dwindling number of opportunities immediately available to h🔯im, de Angelis says he will resist stepping down to Moto2, but has floated the possibility of joining a number of riders in defecting to ♉the World Superbike Championship.

"I'm trying to remain in MotoGP, or if not then I will go to Superbikes," de Angelis told motogp.com. "For the moment I'm in contact with all the🦹 teams who have not officially finalised their rider line-ups ꦍfor next season, so that means Scot Racing, Monster Yamaha Tech 3 and Pramac Racing.

"My aim is to find the best team, without preferences, though obviously if I ride a Honda machine I won't be starting the learning process from 🌠scratch again as I'm accustomed to the bike.

"I'm sure that by next week there will be some movement and I would like toജ confirm my plans in Portugal. My intention is to ꦯride in MotoGP but I have some very important Superbike offers.

"For now, I do not intend to ride in theꦛ Moto2 class and even though I have received some Moto2 offers there was nothing too concrete. We'll see how everything works out from here."

de Angelis has also been linked to burgeoning team FB Corse, which tentatively revealed last week that it plans to enter the final round⛦𓄧 of the 2009 MotoGP season at Valencia with its self-penned machine. de Angelis admits he has been in contact with them.

"I'm a𒊎lso in contact with a new team, FB Corse, who called me to see if I am available for next year, but we are still at a very early stage of contact 🎶with each other."
