Sete Gibernau has targeted a return🉐 to action for the Catalun🦩ya Grand Prix after undergoing surgery to secure a transversal displaced fracture to the middle of his left collarbone.

The Spaniard sustained the injury in a crash at Le Mans during the se🌌cond French Grand Prix free practice session of the weekend.

Ruled out of that event, Gibernau will also miss the upcoming round at Mugello in Italy after having a plate🎐 and screws fitted to rejoin the bone in an operation at Dexeus Institute in Barcelona.

Although there is no word on whether the Grupo Francisco Hernando Ducati team will seek a replacement for Mugello, doctors are confident Gibernau will be fit in time to compete in the Catalunya Grand Prix in꧒ four weeks time.
