The accident occurred at the Italian home of the Fiat Yamaha star - who is biddingꦜ to add a seventh crown to his CV in the premier class this year by successfully defending his 2008 ti𝓰tle glory - when he tripped and the table onto which he stumbled broke, cutting the ring finger of his left hand and the sole of his left foot.

Rossi is still due to fly out to Malaysia today (Tuesday) as originally planned, but it is unclear as to 𒐪how the injuries will affect his ridi🌊ng during the first major test ahead of the new season, which begins on Thursday in Sepang.
