QI-Meritus to race in Asia again.

The QI-Meritus team 𒐪will return to compete in the upcoming GP2 Asia Series following a successful maiden appearance in the championship last season.

The Malaysian-based ⭕team assumed the 13th and final GP2 Asia entry for last year's inaugural season after regular competitors Racing Engineerinꦡg announced they wouldn't be taking part.

With t✤he new GP2 Series Champions once again deciding to sit out this year's champ🎃ionship, QI-Meritus will fill their position with another two driver effort.

Despite their lack of experience in GP2, QI-M☂eritus, which normally races in Formula Renault V6 Asia, nonetheless impressed with their accomplished driv🦩er line-up of Luca Filippi and Hiroki Yoshimoto.

Finishing ni꧃nth overall in the standings, the team managed a best result of fourth, although Filippi had beenꩵ disqualified from a race that he won following innocuous tyre error.

The new GP2 Asia Series gets underway 𝔉in Shanghai on 1🅠8/19th October as a support race for the Chinese Grand Prix.
