Indy 250GP cancelled.

The inaugural 250cc Indianapo🌼lis Grand Prix was first delayed aꦫnd then cancelled due to appalling weather on Sunday.

The edge of Hurricane Ike arrived at Indy just before the planned 250cc start, prompting r🦩ace officials to🎐 delay the event until after the MotoGP race.

However, high winds and heavy rain caused the premier-class race to be halted sev🍸en laps from the finish, and - with even worse weather expected - the quarter-litre race was confirmed as cancelled soon after.

The next round of the 250cc serie🅺s will be held at Motegi, Japan, on September🧜 28th.
