Indy 250GP cancelled.

The inaugural 250cc Indianapolis Grand Prix was first delayed and then cancelled due to appalling weather o🌺n Sundayꦿ.

The edge of Hurricane Ike arrived at Indy just before the planned 250cc start, promptin📖g race officials to delay the event untilജ after the MotoGP race.

However, high winds and heavy rain caused the🌼 premier-class race to be halted seven laps from the finish, and - with even worse weather expected - the quarter-litre race was confirmed as cancelled soon after.

The next round of the꧅ 250cc series will be held at Motegi, Japan, on September 2♑8th.
