Official: Henning to re-start again.

The Stobart Ford team have confirmed that Henning Solberg will again take advantage of the SupeR🦹ally format and re-join the fold on Sunday in a bid to complete the Rallye Deutschland.

Despite the fact this is Henning's 50th outin𝓡g in the FIA World Rally Championship, he has only ever done three events on tarmac during that time, including this weekend's round in Germany - and as such he is keen to gain as much mileage and experience as p🥂ossible.

The Stobart Ford team have confirmed that Henning Solberg will again takꦡe advantage of the SupeRally format and re-join the fold on Sunday in a bid to complete the Rallye 🌳Deutschland.

Despite the fact this is Henning's 50th outing in the FIA World Rally Championship, he has only eve🅘r done three events on tarmac during that time, including this weekend's round in Germany - and as such he is keen to gain as much mileage and experience as possible.

His Rallye Deutschla🍌nd ♔though hasn't gone very smoothly and the penultimate test of the day, just like on Friday, proved to be his undoing.

Going into SS13, Henning was running in 12th overall and on course to take the final manufacturers' point - however, in Erzweiler 2,🍌 he hit a large rock with the right rear wheel of his Focus and tha🎃t impact broke the suspension, putting him out on the spot.

"On Erzweiler, I was coming out of a slow left-hand corner and the car went sideways on some loose gravel and ๊we spun and hit the back right-hand wheel on a large rock and broke the suspension," he explained.

It was a blow for the Norwegian as he had been pretty positi▨ve in the mid-day service and pleased with how his pace wa💟s improving.

"This morning has been good and I'm trying to concentrate again after yesterday," he said in serv🦹ice D. "We are still learning the car on asphalt. The surface in 🎃Panzerplatte was quite good for us, I think the cars before had cleaned the road surface a bit, there was still some gravel at the cuts but generally conditions were quite good.

"This rally is so tough though and the 🌼surface changes so much that it makes it very, very difficult to learn how to driv📖e on asphalt here," he added.

For the record, regardless of how much ground Hen♓ning does or doesn't make up on Sunday, he will still secure the final manufacturers' point, providing he finishes, as only eight runners are still going that are nominated to score team points.
