Pastor🔯 Maldonado has been ruled out of the next GP2 Series round of the season at Istanbul after breaking a collarbone in a biking accident during training.

A major blow to a promising season that has marked him out as one of the leading rookies, for the moment Monaco winner Maldonado will be forced to sit out the coming ar💜ound at Turkey and it remains to be seen when he w🐲ill be able to return.

Although he has avoided surgery, at least 20 days will need to be taken to assess when h🔯e will be able to race, meaning his participation at Monza and possibly Spa-ꩵFrancorchamps is under threat.

"This is a compound fracture" said Dr. Ceccarelli, "It was also analysed by Dr. Vito Maiolino, who ruled out surgery.
