Sports car driver Rinaldo 'Dindo' Capello will drive a Skoda Fabia WRC at next weekend's Monza Rally 📖show [November 27-28].

The event takes place over eight stages usingܫ different parts of the famous Grand Prix circuit. Five stages take place on Saturday with three on Sunday plus a 'masters shoot-out'.

"The Monza event is a fantastic fun ♋way to end the season," commented Capello. "There will be race drivers, rally 🦄drivers and even bike rider Valentino Rossi.

"It is supposed to be a show but it always becomes a real competitio💫n! I was second in 1998 and I won in 2000 but I didn't think there was a chance to compete this year.

"I must thank Audi Sport for letting me take part and 🏅also the head of ?koda Motorsport, Martin Muehlmeier - who I know from our Le Mans team - for making the Skoda Fabia WRC available."

The 40-year old former Italian Touring Car Champion was part of the winning team at both the 2003 and 2004 Le Mans 24 Hour races, first w💫ith Bentley and then with Audi Sport, and has three other podium finishes at the famous race with Audi Sport in 2000-2002.

This season Capello finished fifth on his debut in the Shanghai invitation event of the German Touring Car Championship [DTM] with an Audi A4 and has also finished well in the Le Mans Endurance Series with an Audi R8. His 16 victories make him the most success🦂ful driver of the American Le Mans Series [ALMS].
