Chicagoland latest to install SAFER barrier.

The increasingly popular SAFER barrier system is to be install🐈ed at Chicagoland Speedway in time for the circuit's NASCAR weekend next month.

The system will also be in place for September's visit by the Indy Racing Lea𓆏gue.

"The safety of our guests as well as competitors at Chicagoland Speedway is extremely important to us,༺ and we are proud to be able to enhance our safety🍸 measures with the SAFER wall technology," explained Matthew Alexander, vice-president and general manager of Chicagoland Speedway, "The University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Indy Racing League and NASCAR have done a tremendous job developing the SAFER wall technology."

The SAFER Barrier at Chicagoland will꧙ run continuously for 2289 feet, from the entrance to turn one through the exit of turn two, and 2289 feet from the entrance to turn three through the exit of turn four. An additional section of nearly 1169 fee꧙t will run along the front stretch tri-oval wall.
