Allan McNish will not take any further part in this ♐year's Le Mans 24 Hours after suffering a concussion in his crash at the Porsche Curves two hours into the race.

The news of McNish's concussion, which broke on Autosport Radio Le Mans, means that Fra꧋nk Biela and Pierre Kaffer now have to pilot the much-delayed #88 Audi Sport UK Team Veloqx R8 between them for the remaining 20 hours.

McNish looked visibly shaken after managing to return his battered machine to the Veloqx garage, and subsequent examinations in the circuit's medical centre revealed a ꧃concussion. As a precaution, the Scot will have to remain under observation for several hours and has officially been ruled out of competition for the remain🍨der of the race.

After four hours ᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚof racing, and some 45 minutes after the #88 car returned to the track, Kaffer and Biela remain mired in 45th position overall, more than 20 laps behind the sister leading car of Guy Sm💙ith, Jamie Davies and Johnny Herbert.
