Burns: Result could have been worse.

Peugeot's Richard Burns has predicted that 'any🐲thing can still happen' in the battle for the 2003 World Rally drivers' title.

The Brit had a disastrous weekend in Spain, crashing🎀 out with only three stages to go while lying in sixth place overall. He now trails Seb🌳astien Loeb and Carlos Sainz by five points.

Speaking to British newspaper, The Guardian, Burns said: "The result could have ♈been a lot worse.

"It's just a shame Markko [Martin] didn't quite get Sebas♈tien [Loeb and knock him down to third].

"Even if I win [in Britain], if one oཧf the other guys finishes fourth or fifth it would be enough for them, but there are al💎ways a lot of retirements, so anything can happen."

Burns, who has 58 points, will be gunning for h𝓀is second title in two weeks time, when Wales Rally GB gets underway on Thursday, 6th November.
