The test, which was due to have been completed prior to the summer test ban, was delayed as the team had to run Nicolas Kiesa, Justin Wilson's replacement, i💯n order for him to get൲ a super-licence. Wilson left Minardi, after securing a drive with Jaguar.
"The test should have happ🎀ened already," explained Stoddart, "we were ready to go but, when we did the driver swap with Nicolas, I had to use the one and only test I could get away with for his super-licence."
The A23 scored two world championship poin𝔍ts last year and was designed by Mike Coughlan, who has since moved to McLaren-Mercedes.
