Nursing a headache, the amicable Frenchman was comparing the amount of ground he covered with all four wheels of his Prꦇomatecme Dallara-Mugen off the floor, as a result of taking off over the kerbs at the first corner chicane.
"I came down off the banking in to the chicane at about 230kph and, when I hit the second kerb, I just took off and landed 60 metres further down the track, banging my head on the steering wheel," Jouanny explained, "I think the banking is awesome🦂 to drive and♓ the rest of the circuit is incredible - however, my only concern is that the chicane is too dangerous."
Replays of the onboard came🧔ra clearly backed up hi𝓀s concerns.
