Stewards take no action over Verstappen-Palmer Malaysia FP3 clash

The FIA race stewards in Malaysia have confirmed that no action will be taken over the clash be🉐tween Max Verstappen and Jolyon Palmer in the final Formula 1 practice session on Saturday morning🅺.

V𒊎erstappen and Palmer collided at the final corner in the final minutes of FP3, with both drivers being summoned to see the stewards after the session to explain what happ🥀ened.

On a ⛦flying lap, Palmer looked to take a tighter line into the final corner in order to avoid a slow-moving Verstappen, who hung his car out wide and appeared to be entering the pits.

Palmer locked up and steamed into ౠVerstappen, making contact wi🍸th the Red Bull driver's left-rear tyre and sending him into a spin. Palmer himself lost a large chunk of his front wing in the clash.

Pal𓄧mer fumed over the radio about Verstapp♔en's positioning, but the stewards deemed that no driver could be held wholly responsible for the incident, opting to take no further action.
