Daniil Kvyat feels he deserves clarification from Red Bull about his Formula 1 future after being benched for two races at Toro Rosso due to poor performance before reℱturning to the team for this weekend's United States Grand Prix.

Kvyat was replaced by𝓰 Pierre Gasly for the races in Malaysia and Japan before being confirmed for the ▨final four races of the season following Carlos Sainz Jr.'s early move up to Renault.

The Russian driver's future has been debated for some time given his on-track struggles and previous demotion from Red Bull's senior ൩team back to To🌜ro Rosso in 2016, but he is eager to discuss plans internally behind closed doors.

When asked if it was difficult to think about his F1 future, Kvyat said: "Not t🦹oo much. It hasn’t been too difficult, no big drama or anythi♓ng now.

"We are back here, whatever is going to be. We are going to speak behind closed doors with Red Bull and decide𒊎 what we are going to do.

"Of course, you need some clarification in y𒐪our future steps, what they expect from me, stuff like that. That would be great.

"Otherwise there’s nothing else. I come here to focus on my race and do the best thing possi൲ble."

Kvyat conceded he was angry w꧙hen he found out about being dropp🏅ed and still wants answers from Red Bull regarding the situation so he can plan his future accordingly.

"Do you think I was meant to be happy?" Kvyat said when asked if🍰 he felt angry.

"I think the day after, I think it wasn’t actually a bad thing. Lo𓆉oking back at it, looking how the race was for the team, I wasn’t sorry to miss these two races because they were quite bad for the team’s performance, but you always want to race.

"Like I sai🐎d, we will discuss these t🔯hings behind closed doors, we will decide what the next move is the future. I think I deserve this, have clarifications. We will get them together."
