Pierre Gasly’s difficult Mexican Grand Prix has continued by being forc♍ed to miss qualifying after his second engine breakdown of the weekend during FP3.

Gasly, w♏ho was already set for a 15-place grid penalty due to 💜Control Electronics and MGU-H element changes, completed just two laps in FP3 before an engine problem halted his session early.

With Toro Rosso given less than three hours to reso🍃lve the issue Gasly has been forced out of qualifying for his 🌱third F1 race.

The French driver, who was also denied a Super Formula title tilt last weekend when a Typhoon cancelled the season finale, has completed a total of just 12 laps of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez heading into the Mexican GP after missing FP1 with Sean Gelael 💝given driving duties.

An engine issue in the Friday afternoon session stalled his progress before his FP3 session was en༒ded before it really 🦩began.

Ga♔sly will now need permission from the FIA to start from the back of the grid for Sunday's race.
