Andretti Autosport has named Carlos Mu⛦noz as its sixth 𝓡and final driver entry for the 102nd Indianapolis 500 in May 2018.

Munoz, 25, made his Indy 500 debut with Andretti ♊in 2013, finishing second on debut, and spent three full seasons with the team between 2014 and 2016, recording another P2 finish in the last of his four '500 ap🦹pearances for the team.

Munoz switched to AJ Foyt Enterprises for 2017, only to lose his seat after a difficult campaign, but has been confirmed to be returning for Andretti in t🅺he Indy 500 next year.

Andretti will field its four regular-season drivers - Alexander Rossi, Ryan 🔜Hunter-Reay, Marco Andretti and Takuma Sato - along with Munoz and Stefan Wilson in the Indy 500.

"I am very excited to be a parဣt of Andretti Autosport again. The team has been like family to me since day one, when I joined them five years ago to race Indy Lights," Munoz said.

"We have been so close to winning the Indy 500 – twice with the team – so I am especially excited to be back for that rꦰace and hopefully we will have a good result this year. I need to thank Michael [Andretti] and J-F [Thormann] fo♉r believing in me and wanting me to back in their car for the Indy 500.

"I am also🌺 excited to be back with my teammates, and I think we will cꦫontinue to work really well together. We have six cars, so hopefully we will have a strong team working with the new [areo kit].
