Andretti Autosport has named Carlos Munoz as its sixth and final driver entry for the 102nd Indianapolis 500 in Ma🍒y 2018.

Munoz, 25🐽, made his Indy 500 debut with Andretti in 2013, finishing second on debut, and spent three full seasons with the team☂ between 2014 and 2016, recording another P2 finish in the last of his four '500 appearances for the team.

Munoz switched to AJ Foyt Enterprises for 2017, only to lose his seat after a dif🐼ficult ca๊mpaign, but has been confirmed to be returning for Andretti in the Indy 500 next year.

Andretti will fiel﷽d its four regular-season drivers - Alexander Rossi, Ryan Hunter-Reay, Marco Andretti and Takuma Sato - along with Munoz and Stefan Wilson in the Indy 500.

"I am very excited to be a part of Andretti Autosport again. The team has been like family to 💎me since day one, when I joined them five years ago to race Indy Lights," Munoz said.

"We have been so close to winning the Indy 500 – twice with the team – so I am es♎pecially excited to be back for that race and hopefully we will have a good result this year. I need to thank Michael [Andretti] and J-F [Thormann] for believing in me and wanting me to back in their car for the Indy 500.

"I am also excited to be back with my teammates, and I think we will continue to work really wellౠ together. We have six cars, so hopefully we will have a strong team working with the new [areo kit].
