Luke Mossey wants his front row start sec🀅ured in qualifying at Thruxton to act as a kick-starter to his 2018 ไBennetts British Superbike championship campaign after a difficult opening half of the year.

The JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider has endured a torrid season and languishes down in 17^th place in the BSB riders’ standings, hampered by both mechanical issues and injuries, but has battled🧸 back in qualifying with second place to s🏅plit the Be Wiser Ducati pair of Glenn and Andrew Irwin.

The result marks 12 months on from his nasty back injury suღstained in FP3 at the Hampshire circuit which 🍌wrecked his 2017 season and Mossey hopes his qualifying performance can see him come full circle to ignite his current BSB campaign.

“I am just so glad to𒉰 be back on the front row,” Mossey said. “Everyone knows it has been a tough year for me, with the luck we have had this year, I am taking t🐎hings round-by-round now the championship is pretty much gone.

“I am just trying to get podiums and race wins before the end of the year, the JG Speedfit Kawasaki team have done su🐻ch a great job all year and I hope this is the turning point of our season.

“If we can get a pꦑodium of the year that’d be fantastic and we’ll go for the race win and it is great to do it in JG Speedfit’s back yard, it’s grea𝄹t to be back on the front row for me.”
