Verstappen and Leclerc under investigation for Austrian GP clash
Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc are under investigation following their clash while fighting for the🙈 Austrian Grand Prix victory which saw the Red Bull driver come out on top with a dramatic late overtake.
The Dutch driver charged through the Formula 1 front-runners after a disaster openin💟g lap and reeled in pole-sitter Leclerc with five laps to go at the Red Bull Ring.

The Dutch driver charged through the Formula 1 front-runners after a disaster opening lap and reeled in pole-sitter Leclerc with five laps to go at the Red Bull Rin♉g.
Having sized up a move at Turn 3 the lap earlier, Verstappen dived up the inside of Leclerc with three laps to go at the hꦡairpin with the pair bashing wheels at the apex which saw the Ferrari driver go off track and over the kerbs to concede the lead to his Red Bull rival.
The incident was instantly put under investigation by the FIA race stewards, with Verstappen provisionally winning the race by 2.7 seconds ahead of 🅺Leclerc at the chequerꦍed flag.
The Austrian GP podium ceremony has taken place with Verstappen lifting the winners' trophy - Red Bull's first in its new partnership with Honda - and the first non-Mer꧃cedes winner since the Dutch driver won last year's Mexican🥀 Grand Prix.
The FIA stewards hearing takes place at the Red Bull Ring 💮at 1800 local time.
