Triumph have showc𓂃ased the new Dynavolt Street Triple 765 RS Supersport Challenger which will be ridden by their factory line-up of Kyle Smith and Brandon Paasch, in what marks a histor🌊ical return to official racing for Triumph Motorcycles.

The engines used by Dynavolt Triumph for th൩e 2021 Quattro Group British Supersport Championship will be the same ones as used in Moto2. &🌠nbsp;

An Official statement from the Dynavolt Triumph Racing Team said: “The basis of the Dynavolt Triumph 765 is the Street Triple RS, a bike that has had significant globa꧒l sales success and which is appreciated for its class leading handling and exhilarating, torque rich engine. 

“Following discussion with MSVR and Dorna WorldSBK Organisation (DWO), Triumph are committed to helping establish a new Supersport formula allowing a wider range of engine formats to compete on level terms, thereby offering grea🐬t potential for exciting racing which can feedbac💞k into the development of bikes that people can see in their local showroom.”

Both riders have also spoken about the news, with Paasch saying: "Visiting the Triumph factory was an awesome experience, it’s amazing🔯 to s꧑ee how much time and effort they put into every detail. That’s something that gives a rider an extra bit of confidence. 

"It was also great to finally get𒀰 to meet up and chat with the team an𓂃d see the Dynavolt Triumph race bike! I’ve been thinking of this moment for months now, so to finally see everything coming together was so exciting! 

"I’m fully focused on getting testing here pretty soon, and I can’t thank Triumph enough for all the hospitality and support! I hope everyone 🐼else is as excited about this opportunity as I am."

Paasch competed in the MotoAmerica Supersport series last year - fin🌳ishing third overall, but made the move across to the UK for 2021, while Smith 💟comes over from WorldSSP where he won three races during his six seasons. 

Smith added: "I am keen 🌌to get started in what will be a new challenge for me in a new championship wit🐭h a new bike.  

"When I got the call from Simon it was a no-b🃏rainer. I can't wait to start testing at Silverstone to get our base set-up.  

"I have no doubt the new Triumph w💙ill be a good bike and havi🔯ng worked with the PTR crew in the past, I am confident we can be competitive."
