Fairytale podium for Robertson Racing

Robertson Racing 𒁃secured a fairytale finish to the Le Mans 24 Hours after taking third in the GTE-Am class on its debut atꦑ the Circuit de la Sarthe.
The ꦍprivateer Ford team had gone into the race having suffered a problematic build up to the race, which included multiple engine changes during practice and qualifyin♏g.
However, the loss of two laps due to a paddleshift issue was the only major issue during the race as David Mur🌃ry and team owners David and Andrea Robertson produced a conওsistent performance to take their place on the podium.
On a record breaking day for the team, Andrea Robertson became the first female on the Le Mans podium since 193🎐1 while she became part of the first husband and w༒ife team to finish on the rostrum in the history of the race.
As an added celebration, the third place finish came on the Robertson's se🌠venth wedding anniversary.
"From day one I honestly thought weꦍ had a chance in thಞis class, which is why we entered it," Dave Robertson said. "We are not the fastest, and I know we have a lot of progress to make, but if the team could work together and have a mistake-free run I always believed this was feasible. We just kept going for 24 hours.
"We are so glad to be here, but wouldn't be were it not for the fantastic g☂roup of people in the garage and back in Braselton. This is for them. It's also great to be the first husband and wife on the podium and it makes it even more special that it's our anniversary. The only problem is I've no idea how to top this next year!"
Murry, the professional driver in the line-up, was also thrilled 🎉with the podium finiಌsh.
"I am so happy for Dave, Andrea and the team," he said. "We have worked so hard for the past four years and this is the pinna🐼cle of what they wanted to achieve, so to come and get a podium on debut is just fantastic.
"You always dream about a possib🔯le result but don't ever think it could happen so we have just taken one step at a time. This was a 100% team effort and that is what contributes to podiums at Le Mans."
